Lite: (RotaTrack in a Box) £6,000 provides some of the power and sophistication of the full version of RotaTrack
where a simpler and cheaper is needed by some organisations. Where limited or
no automation is acceptable we
offer a ‘Click and allocate solution’ for just £6,000. Users can set-up their own system, using the powerful diary to track
availability and then auto-allocate
‘Fixed Sessions’ and then fill in gaps using available staff and trainees from lists of
available staff.
In use operators need to maintain a computerised departmental diary and weekly
templates into which rotas can be flowed and trainees allocated. This is all
controlled by a module taken directly from our high end fully automated
RotaTrack.
RotaTrack Lite is useful where small groups are needed and where matching
individuals skills and specialties to complexity of task is required ie a
theatre list of available and qualified Surgeons, Anaesthetists and Nurses.
These features would be useful for Emergency Services etc. If you prefer we

Shift Manager addresses the requirements of all hospital departments, including surgical,
anaesthetic, radiographic, laboratory, physiotherapy, operating theatres, and
pharmacy. All personnel are covered including: Consultants, trainees, and
non-consultant career grades. New categories can be easily added. offers three
different types of shifts or On-Call systems to satisfy every requirement.
Shift Manager is capable of providing three months or more of rota shifts in up
to 13 week blocks as far ahead as required.
This is also intended for general hospital use.
Resource Manager is our entry level system providing providing 3 months or more of rota shifts in
up to 13 week periods and like all of our solutions uses the same programming-
significantly this includes the powerful diary.

When an absence is booked, the software checks that leave is "available"
depending on rules and then checks to see if
‘work group rules’ are about to be broken. Conflicts are flagged, using a traffic light system and
detailed information is provided for
immediate feedback on the chances of a leave application being successful.
Basic contractual details, contact numbers, e-mails, pagers etc. can be stored.
And
we can supply reports on every aspect. The Diary can be used for booking all
Departmental and individual events. Supervisors can log-on to allow or disallow
leave.

Shift and OnCall Rostering
There is a growing move towards Shifts which can more easily satisfy the EWTD.
Our Shift and OnCall rota system addresses the requirements of all hospital
departments and medical specialities, including surgical, anaesthetic,
radiographic, laboratory, physiotherapy, operating theatres, and pharmacy. All
personnel are covered including: Consultants, trainees, and non-consultant
career grades, different MTO grades etc. New categories can be easily added.The
example shows a twilight shift for a week. The bottom shows an individuals
weekly commitment. (Dark green is Theatres, light green Shift, blue are Diary
Events).
