RotaTrack offers a software solution for full automation of every activity in
the planning and scheduling of a hospital staff rota, or roster supported by
nearly 300 reports. A skills based employee planning system RotaTrack allocates
fixed sessions then auto-allocates first Consultants then Trainees to vacant
slots. Trainee allocation takes into consideration all agreed training
requirements and preferences - where appropriate. All aspects of RotaTrack can
be manually overruled with suggested alternatives. Based on a comprehensive
electronic diary RotaTrack automatically produces rotas, roster's and shifts to
ensure that hospitals comply with the EWTD whilst maximising service levels. On
call rotas and roster's are accommodated separately but run back into the diary
to ensure synergy throughout the various time and attendance elements of a busy
hospital in the NHS.
RotaTracks ability to provide cross site allocation is particularly useful as
larger Trusts are formed and need control over essential services and
resources.
The Royal Derby is a massive 1000 bed hospital with 120+ Anaesthetists
supporting Lists for 300+ sessions. Weekly rotas are produced 2-4 weeks ahead
of time with on calls and shifts produced further ahead. All changes are
reflected live within the web environment as they happen.
